A delicious meal, good company and the kind of conversation that carries on long after the plates have been cleared.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">During our visit to <strong>Finca El Marchante in La Herradura<\/strong>, we found exactly that.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If you\u2019re wondering <strong>where to eat near Nerja<\/strong> and fancy planning something a little special, here\u2019s a personal recommendation from our team at Casasol.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">A dining experience with your own private table<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">One of the things that made our visit so memorable was the setting: one table for the service. Ours.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Having that space to ourselves made the whole afternoon feel wonderfully personal. We could settle in, enjoy each dish and spend time together with views over La Herradura Bay.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Finca El Marchante offers private dining experiences for couples and small groups, organised in advance. It\u2019s the sort of place to make time for during your holiday, especially if sharing a good meal is part of what you love about travelling.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Local ingredients and food worth slowing down for<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The food was a highlight of our visit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Finca El Marchante\u2019s approach centres on locally sourced produce, including ingredients from the finca\u2019s own vegetable garden. That connection to the surrounding area gives the experience a real sense of place.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Our advice? Arrive curious and give yourself time to enjoy it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As the experience is prepared in advance and there isn\u2019t a fixed everyday menu, contact the team to discuss the available options, current prices and any dietary requirements before booking.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Our favourite part: the sobremesa<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">There\u2019s a Spanish word you\u2019ll want to get familiar with during your stay: <strong>sobremesa<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It means the time spent at the table after a meal, chatting and enjoying everyone\u2019s company. The food may be finished, but nobody feels quite ready to leave.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For us, this was one of the best parts of visiting Finca El Marchante.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The dishes were delicious and the views were beautiful, but what stayed with us was how relaxed we felt.
